I am Vanit Dhaliwal: I hold a Bachelor of Science in General Science, Master of Science in Zoology and a Bachelor of Education from Punjabi University, Patiala, India. In 1991 I married and joined my husband in the UK where I continued adding teaching credentials by taking further teaching coursed and classroom placements in West London. My family moved in 1996 to wonderful San Diego due to my husband’s work as a wireless engineer. I have two kids – 13 year old boy and an 11 year old girl. When my kids were young they started Montessori school in Encinitas and I became familiar with the Montessori Education system. I loved it so much that I rejoined teaching once my children entered Elementary School. I first taught in Rancho Santa Fe for one year before joining MCDC where I have been teaching for 6 years. Since last year, I have been taking the AMS Montessori Teacher Training locally. When I see the smiles on our children’s faces it makes my day. |
