Heather Kufchak, AMS Intern

Hello, my name is Heather Kufchak.

I am an American Montessori Society intern from Montessori Teachers College of San Diego, which means that this year I have the honor of working with your children as a student teacher. I know I will learn a lot from them!

In my quest to find the "perfect" learning environment, I visited many different schools. When it came time for me to choose, MCDC was the only school I requested. The entire staff truly is exceptional! I consider myself lucky to spend my year as an intern here at MCDC.

My husband and I have a three year old daughter, Tegan, who attends Little Hands Montessori next door. As far as other interests go, I enjoy traveling and have lived in the USA, South Pacific and Italy. I also enjoy playing the piano, cooking, learning about art, listening to music, visiting museums, camping, hiking and spending time with my daughter and husband.
