Antonina (Nuccia) Raccosta, Head Teacher LHM

My name is Nuccia Raccosta and I've been working with LHM since 2006. Just to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Italy where I received my Masters Degrees in Education, Physical Education and Montessori Toddler Training. I worked in Italy for over 5 years in a Montessori Toddler School and previous to that I taught Physical Education in a Middle School. I enjoyed several years in my youth as a semi-professional runner and volleyball player, unfortunately that is all a distant memory now. I strive to be a physically active role model for my daughter Giulia and all the children who participate in my "Fun and Fit " class at MCDC. Some of my favorites hobbies are: hiking, playing tennis, volleyball, traveling, Italian cooking, reading. Giulia is my only child and a light of my life. She graduated from MCDC in 2008. Currently she is a straight A student who gained from MCDC a love of learning. My goal at LHM is to create a loving and supportive environment where every child can learn and grow to the level of his/her abilities. I have enjoyed my experience as being a part of the MCDC Family both as a Parent of and a Teacher. Nuccia Raccosta |
